Mayhaps commit to a separate branch? And merge it back into the trunk later?

Pinky swear?

OK. Yeah I'm not gonna update my code until I get FinishWindow in good shape anyways.

Do me a favor and don't touch the battle video code. I don't feel like dealing with merges. I'll handle converting those over (battle.cpp and battle_windows.cpp -- you can do battle_actors if you want).

What if we still call DeleteImage in the destructor? Will that mess up with the new code? If so, that's no good. We shouldn't have to go back through the codebase and upconvert working code (unless there's a massive performance boost the enw way).

Other than that, :approve: .

Traditionally, epsilon is even more coarse than that (.01), so .001 should be way more than we need.

I'm wondering, instead of writing that equals function, is it possible to override the float == operator to perform the epsilon comparison? It'd be way cleaner.

Alright, who was the guy doing that? :heh:

What's our epsilon? .001?

++i is faster than i++. Also, if at all possible, we should try to make for loops that decrement instead of increment (--i instead of ++i). It's faster to check against 0 than any other number. I found this convienent diagram for choosing the appropriate C++ STL container class to use I have a quest...

Can you elaborate?

I don't think it has anything to do with you. It's probably just us messing up the draw coordinates. I'll let you know if it's something otherwise.

If you don't want me working in the battle code and screwing things up, then you shouldn't give me a reason to go there in the first place. Ha. The minute you said you were gonna work on battle mode I almost cried, and I told you that. I dreaded that something like this might happen. For any normal...

They were missing because I removed them. I removed them because they are not necessary. The GlobalActor contains all the get functions you need to retrieve HP, attack, etc. There is no reason why all those functions should have to be replicated by the battle actor class Functions like GetPhyscialA...

Battle mode has been the most disappointing part of the code IMO, as its been broken for weeks and weeks now. And who's fault is that, hm? HMMMM? It was working when I left it (or at least mostly working). Regardless, I'm not really in the mood for fixing all the problems in battle mode when we pla...

Yeah, I think we discussed this a few weeks ago, and everyone seemed to agree. As for macros being unsafe, who cares? Like you said it's only for debugging purposes, so no harm no foul.

Just that I suck. But you've known me to take a while to get momentum but when I do, I actually get stuff done . Hopefully I have another one of those coding sprees when I get my stuff back. If I get it back....it's so painful . One positive thing I do want to comment on is that I see more devs on a...

In the middle of moving so he's on downtime until the end of the month. Hopefully when he gets back he can finish all the code for battle windows necessary for the release.

Once this is done for the demo, should we entertain the new battle mode idea(s)?
