That makes a lot of sense to me. I presume most people who download a free game, don't yet have much commitment to it. There's a good chance it may be junk. Why read the documentation if you may not spend more than 5 min with the game? I've certainly written off games after less than 5 min of play. Maybe i've missed some good ones, but life is too short to give everything a fair chance.

The more minutes pass from the time a game is downloaded to the moment the player starts to have fun, the less likely the player is to give the game a chance, and get involved with it, and eventually contribute to the further development of the game.
