About sharing your artwork outside of the site

I just wanted to clarify with everyone, since I don't think it's "officially" stated anywhere. I have no problems with you guys sharing your artwork outside of the site (ie on DeviantArt, your personal website, other forums, etc.). In fact, I encourage it because it generates more site traffic and spreads the word about Allacrost. [It would be very nice if you could share a link to Allacrost whenever you post a new piece!]

In short, it's your artwork and you can do whatever you want with it. You've just agreed to let us use it in the game, that's all. However, please do not post any undisclosed work on the Allacrost public forums. You can, however, have a link to your site/DA page/whatever in your signature that contains Allacrost art.

Does that make sense? :eyespin: If you guys have any thoughts or issues with this policy, post them here and let your voice be heard. I think we're all pretty reasonable people here and we can work something out if someone has a proble. :)

I think I am going to start posting my work on pixeljoint for them to critique. They have some skilled people there.

First I will get a general overall accepted image from the team, then I will send it to pixeljoint for me to polish off at the end of the game's creation (which Jetryl would say to do!).

But before I actually update them I can get an overall idea of their criticisms and progress my newer pieces anyway, and plus there will always be pixellers there to help me and communicate about my art as opposed to here where the team is limited in numbers, LOL!

We'll see what it can do for me in the long run.

I post nearly everything I make on http://www.wayofthepixel.net and I'm going to do so right away with the salamander.
