Sound submissions

Post by qubodup » Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:17 pm

Here's a little coin sound which I either recorded or got from pdsounds.org. In any case, it's public domain.

http://nothingdoesntsuck.googlepages.co ... _ring.flac

flac -d 2008_02_17-coin_ring.flac should decode it to wav.

PS: This forum should be called music&sound.

It'd have to be for small items, but yeah, I could see some use for this. Thanks. :approve:

Hey there again,

I recorded me swinging a bamboo stick, which produced 40+ single sounds. I uploaded them to a set on freesound and declared them to be public domain (and because some people are picky about it not being possible to release something into the pd, they are also licensed under the cc-pd dedicatoin)

It might be one of the sounds that does not record well though :( Tell me what you think. I can adopt some of the files to your current sound standard (I would take a look at the sounds currently used for having it on a similar level) if you think there is sense in doing so.

Thanks for sharing qubodup. We'll definitely take a look through them, especially seeing as our next release is going to make much greater use of sound than we have in the past.
